ABOUT SAD STAMPS
Flash printing
Come get your clothing tattooed by hand by Sadie from Sad the Shop. (And by “tattooed”, we mean “stamped”, and by stamped we mean “hand-carved-hand-stamped-right-in-front-of-you”). Bring your own clothing or choose from a selection of pre-loved clothing, totes, and patches to get it customized with Sadie’s artwork.
HOW FLASH PRINTING WORKS:
Pick your design from the flash sheet of hand-carved stamps
Pick your material: BYOC, pre-loved garments, or patch
Print right there in front of you
Follow care instructions for ink curing
Admire your new one-of-a-kind piece
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
BYOC:
Bring your own PRE-WASHED NATURAL-FIBER-BASED CLOTHING. Some stretch is okay, but overly textured items don’t print well. I will be printing in black ink only, so keep that in mind when choosing colors.
Examples of fabrics that work well: cotton tees, linen, flat canvas totes, denim.
PRE-LOVED MAGIC:
Patches, totes, and clothing items are almost all entirely secondhand, so each piece is limited and unique to you. I believe in giving new life to items where we can. Each item is printed by hand.
CARE AND WEAR:
You will leave with care instructions for your garment. It’s important that you follow these instructions to ensure the life of your print.
